All-Russia creative workshop “Folklore and the Youth”
 

In Vologda Oblast workshops “Folklore and the Youth” are arranged once during 2 year-time to promote and popularize traditional folk culture among wide sections of population and first of all among children and the youth of the Vologda city and Vologda Oblast. Thanks to the festival “Folklore and the Youth” during last year the artistic level of folklore groups is increased significantly, many of them became prize-winners of different Russian festivals and contests.

The program of the festival includes concerts and festivals of folklore groups, master-classes and scientific conferences, outdoor festivities, folklore festivals.
