On January, 21, 2010 in the Vologda City Administration the meeting where the complex of actions on information support of the International Festival of Young European Cinema " VOICES " which will take place in Vologda Oblast on July, 4 - 9, 2010 was discussed. The International Festival of Young European Cinema " VOICES " is carried out within the framework of the Year of France in Russia and Year of Russia in France. Its organizers are the RF Ministry of Culture, the Vologda Oblast Government, Vologda City Administration, French firms " ID-reel ", "Bollore", "Unifrance", "Fiapf". Within the framework of the festival there will be a competition of fiction films by young directors. The professional jury headed by the world famous film director Sergey Bodrov will take the decision. As
the coordinator of the project Pavel Morozov (France)
informed that the project had attracted attention of
the leading European and Russian information
holdings. The press conference on which official
partners of the Festival will be announced is
planned to take place in the beginning of February
in Moscow. At the same place the theme of
competitive projects for young directors from
different countries will be declared. Five winners
of this competition will have an opportunity to make
short-footage films during the Festival. There will
be a lot of surprises for the festival participants
and visitors. The negotiation on demonstration of
the French silent cinema masterpieces which were
shot by the Russian actors and directors who had
emigrated from Russia are being held now. |
