Memorial Panteleev's Studio is the first such museum at Vologda. Alexander Panteleev (1932-1990) - "Deserved Painter of Russia" - is well-known here and abroad: 40 museums and 80 collectors have his pictures.

After painter's death his Studio become a museum. It was occurred at 1993.

Now many of Panteleev's pictures are hung here in such exhibitions as " Pushkin's cycle", "Italian Motives",  "Problems of Ecology", "Theater at Creation and Destiny", "French Influences" and other.
