IX Regional Arts Exhibition "Russian North" will extend from Sept. 19 till Nov. 19 2003 at Vologda. At this exhibition will be presented about a thousand works of five hundreds artists of nine branches  of the Painters Union of Russia - from Karlia, Komi, Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kirov, Murmansk, Novgorod, Pskov and Cherepovets.

The first such exhibition was at 1964 at Arkhangelsk. Then - at Kirov, Petrozavodsk, Vologda, Syktyvkar, Novgorod, Murmansk.
