On the meadow in front of the house one could see «peasants» play, sing and dance. The trade was going on - skilled craftsmen were boasting of their goods.

The director of this grandiose event in the open-air was the honored worker of arts of Russia Yury Tsepelev. In leading parts - the best groups of the Vologoda land: the State Group of Folk Music, Songs and Dance «Russian North», the Russian national theatre, the State Performing Group «Gostya», Folk song group «Solstice», the Wind Orchestra «Classic-modern band», the Cherepovets symphony orchestra, the quartet of Russian Folk Instruments «Gobelin», the choreographic collective «Beau monde», and also the honored artist of Russia Vsevolod Chubenko, soloists Elena Nikitina, Vladimir Sergeev, Natalia Pokhachevskaya, etc.

Initially the opening of five halls was planned for July; however it was possible to open the entire house - two floors and an attic. On the ground floor of the manor-house the visitors can see the exhibition «Folk art in the Galskih country estate from Alexey Germanovich's private collection», represented by the objects of ethnography. The first floor of the house is occupied with the exposition «History of family - history of Russia». Interiors are restored so skillfully, that the owners seem to have never abandoned the house. Cherepovets residents made their own contribution to the estate restoration: they helped to improve the territory and even brought the exhibits for the museum collection.

The second stage of the restoration work is to restore the household constructions: stables, servants' log houses, two barns, the creamery, the workshop, to restore the round garden, to organize the recreation zones, to construct a wharf.
