Significant dates of his life


June 18, 1930 – born in the Petryaevo village of Biryakovskiy district in the family of a village teacher.

1938-1942 – a study in the primary school.

1942-1945 – a study in the Vorobyevskaya seven-year education school

1945-1948 – a study in the Vologda teacher’s training vocational school.

1948-1952 – a study in the Vologda teacher’s training university. Graduated with honors.

1952-1960 – a work in the regional youth newspaper “Vologda Komsomol member”.

1959 – accepted to the RSFSR Writers’ Union.

1960-1962 – a study at the High literary courses in Moscow.

1962-1964 – a work in the regional youth newspaper “Vologda Komsomol member”.

Since 1964 during 11 years for different terms he was elected as a senior secretary of the Vologda Region Komsomol organization.

1972 – awarded to A.Yashin Prize adopted by Vologda Region Komsomol organization.

1980 ã. – decorated with the order “Sign of Honor”.

During his literary career Alexander A.Romanov wrote 25 books of verses, poems and prose published in Vologda, Archangelsk and Moscow.

For many years he was a member of the editorial board of the “North” magazine, a member of the Auditing and Reception Committee of the RSFSR Writers’ Union.

Died on May 5, 1999 in Vologda.

Buried near the grave of his mother in the village cemetery in Georgievskoye village not far from his native village..
